Upcycled denim corsets - A special moment

These photos capture an unforgettable experience—meeting one of my favorite singers and gifting her two custom-made denim underbust corsets. Knowing denim is my signature material, I chose to upcycle old garments to create something meaningful and stylish just for her.

Since I didn’t have her exact measurements, I designed the corsets with a lace-up back for adjustability, allowing for a flattering and flexible fit. Her genuine smile and reaction when receiving them made all the time and effort completely worth it.

This project was not only a creative highlight but also a personal milestone—blending my passion for denim, sustainability, and music into a truly special moment.

Western Denim Upcycling Project

This design was a special upcycling project where I transformed four garments from my closet into two unique western-inspired pieces. I was asked to create a custom denim outfit for a concert and leaned into my love for repurposing denim to bring something bold and original to life.

The final look includes a color-blocked denim shirt with contrast yoke, pearl snap pockets, and one of my favorite elements—dramatic fringe across the back and sleeves. The matching jeans feature coordinated paneling that ties the outfit together, creating a cohesive western aesthetic with a modern edge.

Not only was this a sustainable design effort, but it was also incredibly fun and rewarding. I was thrilled with the outcome—and the fringe absolutely stole the show!

From sketch to reality - My very first wedding gown

These images capture the journey of creating my very first wedding gown—from initial sketches to the final, stunning result. This was an incredibly special project, as the dress was made for my sister-in-law. Designing and constructing a wedding gown was a new experience for me, and I wanted every detail to be perfect.

With guidance from my mother—who has years of expertise in crafting high-end gowns—I was able to bring this vision to life. From choosing the lace and planning the silhouette to executing the final fitting, every step was filled with care and craftsmanship. The finished gown was everything we hoped for: elegant, personal, and made with love.

Seeing her shine in something I created was one of the most rewarding moments of my career so far.

Some of my early on creations

Looking back at these images brings a wave of creative nostalgia. Some were born from school projects, others from personal design explorations and ideas that sparked along the way. I had fun experimenting with various garment treatments and tie-dye techniques—each piece was a chance to play, learn, and push my creativity a little further.
